NAPO-NY | Drupal to Wild Apricot migration

NAPO-NY Wild Apricot website

NAPO-NY’s Drupal website had served them well for years, but its age was showing. Changes were difficult to accomplish without a developer and precious time. Finally, NAPO-NY decided to do as other NAPO chapters had and migrate to the Wild Apricot membership platform.

They’d originally engaged with a Wild Apricot-approved developer but quickly encountered issues. NAPO-NY found me through kind colleagues at NAPO Oregon because they liked its design.

What started as a simple migration, turned into a major overhaul. I worked closely for months with two fantastic NAPO-NY liaisons to create a fully custom, updatable website that better serves the organization’s needs for the long term.

NAPO Oregon | Wild Apricot Migration

After years of supporting its WordPress website, NAPO Oregon chose my company to migrate to the Wild Apricot (WA) membership platform. The organization was most concerned about migrating its chapter’s assets to WA and maintaining the WordPress site’s attractive appearance.

We worked collaboratively with NAPO Oregon’s Director of Tech, logically dividing the tasks. Our shared history and recent WA experience helped complete the abbreviated project on time and on budget. Better yet, we successfully mimicked the existing site’s style with a starter Wild Apricot theme.
